Something we were talking about in the office is how commercial builds and refurbs tend to have AC systems, but this is still something that the in residential sector does not often happen, in new builds it is expected that passive cooling is considered first, which includes shading, window design, ventilation and limiting solar gain. In order to keep warm the Future Homes Standard means new builds are required to adhere to the mandate for low-carbon heating systems.
On a less divisive note, there are a few dates for your diary the month of July, with a huge array of sporting events, so hopefully something for every taste, if you like your spectator sports. Should we ask ourselves… Is it coming home?! For me it has to be Wimbledon and the Commonwealth Games, so July is a dream for me.
